I drive a 1993 iszuz rodeo it grinds on the second gear only but whe driving if i give it 4sec and then put it into 2nd after first it dont grindbut if i put it into 2nd right after 1st it grinds what can i do? will a transmission fluid flush solve the problem...?

That depends. If you recently got the vehicle and don't know if it always did this, then you can try a tranny flush. I'd wait the 4seconds and save all that cringing and money.

Sounds like your syncromesh unit has gone bad. By allowing 4 sec to pass you are allowing the engine speed to catch up to the transmission speed and the gears then mesh smoothly. I own a 1929 Ford Model A without a syncromesh tranny and I Use a similar technique. You can also double clutch.

maybe you just dont know how to shift properly.

let someone else drive, and see if it happens to them.
