Colostrum is the thick yellow nutrient and immune component-rich first milk that the breast will produce for the baby's first few days. By the second trimester true colostrum is produced as early as 16 weeks. Some women may notice slight drainage of colostrum from their nipples and occasionally a small amount of blood. This is not a cause for concern.

It usually continues throughout the pregnancy until your milk comes in after delivery. (I only have it in my right one now and I am 19 wks)

kind of common it can last a short of long time there is no right or wrong for it to last if you breast feed after birth THEY BOTH leak untill you stop breastfeeding. You can buy nursing pads now for your bras if they leak a lot. They have washable pads and throwaway pad they sell them about everwhere near the baby supplies. If you plan to breat feed you'll want to have nursing pads anyway so buy em now.
