First you would need an exotic animal license....second you would need a good reason why you want it, and not to have just as a pet. Also it's not as easy as you think, owning a big cat....you have to feed a tiger about 30+pounds of meat each day, are you rich? You need to know more about what you are trying to do before you do it, or you will find yourself getting rid of the tiger when it reaches 2yrs old and have it shipped to a zoo.....You can't own a tiger, the tiger will end up owning you! How old are you anyways? 14?

Really, if you love tigers, why don't you see what you can do to help them in the WILD. This is not a kitty cat and it can turn on you easily. Some trainers have been killed by their cats just because the cat was playing and doesn't realize how fragile their human companions are.

After a tiger reaches a certain size and age, about 2, you shouldn't even go in its cage.

I know it looks glamorous on t.v., but trust me, people who work with big cats are trained, experienced and know the limitations of their tigers. Even with all that knowledge, some of them still end up getting killed.

So, I ask again, why don't you help them in the WILD?

Good Luck and Take Care

i love tigers myself but its not practical to have one as a pet. little ones grow big, then what would you do with it? tigers are not meant to be kept as pets. it would be miserable. i hope you have a nice big space for it to live in, otherwise i hope you wouldnt be so selfish as to keep a tiger in your house or in a cage!

Try volunteering at a big cat sanctuary in your area and see what happens to tigers when they get big and nobody wants them.
