This is just a thought. Not sure exactly where I would settle on this issue, but SOMETHING MUST BE DONE to STOP the incredible ignorance of extermination questions, pubic hair questions, and pure hatred filled blather that contains no point or question whatsoever. What do you think? Please feel free to elaborate.

Aaron - I disagree. Who says we have to? Y/A is not a right, it's a privelege. Why should we appeal to the lowest common denominator of society?

Margie - Your point is well taken.

I think I kind of agree with you -- some of the questions here are asinine. But I fear that those who ask them could pass the test you are discussing.

The height of ignorance is to not even consider the other side of the issue, i.e you can't know right from wrong if you don't know what wrong is. It would be nice if questions were put in their proper categories. And some of these questions make me so angry! And the spelling! There is a spell checker offered, but I guess you have to understand what that means before it is an option to use it.

I try not to answer the ignorant questions. But sometimes I can't help but be a smart aleck, and answer. Another irritation for me - homework help. These people need to look up the word "help" in the dictionary. It doesn't mean get someone to do it for you! I will answer the ones that honestly want help, but the ones who want answers get nothing from me. I wish the political questions did not engender such hatred. Many on here seem to feel "my way or the highway" is the way democracy works. It isn't.

There are many here on answers who are intelligent, and give good, solid answers based on their experience or knowledge. The trick is knowing how to weed them out from the dreck. This is usually a very simple task, and unless the answer is extremely offensive, I will leave it alone. But I don't lose any sleep over reporting someone for abuse. I really enjoy this forum, and have learned some valuable information, and discovered that there are others who have the same thoughts I do.

Until another option comes available, I guess we continue using the "report abuse" feature when it is blatant abuse. And hope that, like cream, intelligence will rise to the top. And maybe the offenders will finally get the picture. Like a child who throws a tantrum to get attention, maybe if we don't reward the bad behavior it will go away?

Sorry, I have no solution. Maybe someone else with more experience in this type of forum will be able to come up with an intelligent solution.

Yeah, i'm ill of those stupid solutions through those with stupid, slu*y names like SeXI*<3BAaBiE!? ok, Yahoo solutions isn't a courting website. I propose, all of us have our obsessions, yet we do not care in case you placed on a length 0 of "i'd properly be pregnant!" when you're, large! announce it, yet when you're a fifteen 3 hundred and sixty 5 days old who basically were given pregnant, eww, do not promote it. inspite of this, i for my section am ill of those smart-nosed those who report each and every man or woman for each little thing. Yeah, there are issues printed that should not be, and those issues must be stated, yet no longer each and every thing! Yeah, we elect an IQ try in position!

It is almost impossible to get a straight answer from anyone. It reverts to name calling and psycho babble. There should be another forum for serious answers only.

It is not for us to decide but for the providers of the service. I do not bother with such inept questions, but I do not seek to rid of them. I need laughter once in a while.

You have to be willing to deal with ignorance to maintain the level of freedom that allows for Genius to express itself.

Who's going to design the test, you? Don't pay attention to the questions you don't like, then you won't be so frustrated.
