I think that the government has isolated certain communities and is doing a test to see if and how a isolated community responds?
I think Hawkins is controlling the information they get completely.

I think what is being asked is if Jericho was set up as a case study for the government to watch and monitor. (As a plot in the show).

No I don't think that is a practical explanation. It would be too hard and too dangerous to "fake" a nuclear explosion and radioactive fallout.

I personally don't think the town of Jericho is a test for the government or anyone else. What about the guy who had radiation poisoning. Could they have paid him enough to die for a test? I do like to read all the different theories though because it shows how much Jericho is liked and maybe it will stay on TV. I for one am going to stick with it till the end, too many questions --yea!!!!!

You have an interesting prospective . I would have never even thought of that . My you have a sharp mind . No I would not put it past the government to do something like that. Maybe about Hawkins . But how do you explain the russian writing on his computer and the screen of a passport it looks like ?I am sure we will find out soon enough . I love that show though . I never miss an episode. God bless .

How do you simulate a nuclear mushroom cloud and lots of birds dead from radiation?

The disaster is very real for the show's characters.

this is how conspiracy theories start. i dont believe its a test. if it was we certainly wouldnt be watching it on network television. the government might be watching it to see if they can learn anything from it, but i highly doubt they are involved...lol
