There are books and magazines that come in brail, blind people still have to wear clothes and shoes, you can get them a gift certificate, you could treat them to a day at a spa. Just because they're blind doesn't mean that you can't buy them some of the same things you would buy for a person who has vision.

Why would it make a difference that they were blind? Get them the nicest gift that you can afford or feel is appropriate for your relationship. Get something nice!

Something that focusses on any of the other four senses. Things to :
TOUCH- warm gloves, an electric fan, soft cushions, silky bedsheets, foot spa, electric massager or some massage sessions, a pedicure, manicure, facial................
SMELL- nice perfume or aftershave, special spices, essential oils and an oil burner, aromatic candles or plants..........
TASTE - chocolates, alchohol, potted vegetable plants or herbs, delux fruit cake, brandied or preserved fruits, special cheeses........
HEAR - good music CDs, books on tape.............
Just close your eyes and think - what things do I enjoy? Blind people are real people who enjoy those things too!!!! Think creatively - GOOD LUCK!

an I-pod, or some music maybe.
You can also give them chocolates or a fruit basket. A really soft blanket, sweater, or other type of clothes you know would look good on them... probably find an neutral color so that they wouldn't mix it up when pairing it with other clothes. Sunglasses.

why not get them an "experience?" in other words take them out for an opera, or dinner or something. maybe go ice skating (and you help ofcourse) or go to a theme park and ride fun stuff...anyway you get the idea. it's highly possible this person already has every book on tape and candles of every scent.

Something that would arouse their other senses that are intact. Nice smelling candles, music to listen to, a soft cozy robe or blanket, cook them or take them out to a gourmet meal, etc...

Treating them to lunch, dinner, or breakfast. Sunglasses, as I noticed lots of them like to wear sunglasses. Books on tape or perfume/cologne. Treat them to coffee at a cafe.
Or you can ask the person what she/he would like.
