I have on daughter already. I am TTC again. I've been having pregnancy type symptoms and last night, I kept feeling fluttering feelings in my lower abdomen. The strage thing is, I didn't really start to feel flutters with my daughter until about 3 mos. Has this happend to any one else? Did you find out you were pregnant?

I haven't missed my period yet, but I did just get off BC 3.5 wks ago so my cycle might be unusual.

You guys sound just like my mom! I told her it wasn't gas...it wasn't a bubbly intestine. I would feel it on both sides of my belly, place my hand there, and it felt like something jerked away... Creepy. I've taken an HPT, but it's possible it isnt' reading right if I've still got hormones from the BC is it?
I have an appt for my daughter and I plan on talking with the dr to get a blood test.
I had a c-section with her, so my muscles might be really sensative to movement/touch.

as far as it being twins...my grandfather on my moms side was a twin, and my husband was a twin! And a cousin of mine on my dad's side had twins.

It actually may be gas, but caused by hormones. Feels almost like your intestines are twitching? When I went off birth control pills last year to TTC I swore I was pregnant for the same reason. My OB explained that when you go off birth control pills there are major hormonal swings and these can give you odd flutterings that are only gas. She was right as I didn't end up conceiving until 2 months later.

By the way, I had c-sections with all of my children (pregnant with # 4) and if anything it lessened how much I felt the movement, especially with this pregnancy. I had my daughter Sept. 2005 and when I got pregnant this time I didn't feel movement until later. It made me really nervous at first, but the OB explained that there is probably still some residual numbing from just having had the c-section last year. Plus, after having 3 c-sections there are some areas that I noticed around the incision that are always numb.

It is very rare for anyone to feel fluttering before 3 months. A freind of mine said she did and it turned out to be twins. I guess theres already less room. But just think about how the baby grows it doesn't even resemble a baby yet nor have arms or legs big enough to move where you could feel it.

I didn't feel anything unitl i was five months with both.

It's impossible to feel movement this early. The baby doesn't even have limbs at this point, just buds and is about the size of a grain of rice.

i didnt feel my daughter flutter until i was about 4 months, so i would say its probably not, but now after i had my daughter, i feel things that i probably wouldnt have noticed before i had got pregnant. like ill be sitting watching tv, and ill feel something (like in my uterus area) and ill think, omg i must be pregnant, its funny. but i never am. im not trying to concieve, we use protection. but every little thing i feel i think im pregnant. im not saying ur not. , but i would have to say its probably gas, or just things moving around. like i said, now that i have been pregnant, i feel every little thing. good luck, and i hope u get pregnant!!!!!
