Bernie was invited to his friend's home for dinner. Morris, the host, preceded every request to his wife by endearing terms, calling her Honey, My Love, Darling, Sweetheart, Pumpkin, etc.
Bernie looked at Morris and remarked, "That is really nice, that after all these years you have been married, you keep calling your wife those pet names."
Morris hung his head and whispered, "To tell the truth, I forgot her name three years ago!"

This is not a question. But I would imagine you are trying to ask, has this ever happened to you?
Most unlikely would anyone forget their spouse's name. Quite unrealistci unless they have a case of amnesia.
But there is a way of dealing with the situation fo having to introduce a friend of your sto someone whom you know. If you have forgotten either of their names', simply say, to the person whose name you've forgotten, 'This is Sally,'... and your friend will introduce herself to Sally, thereby reminding you fo their name.
Sneaky, I know, but it works.
Maybe Morris shoudl try this technique.
