hmmm
read somewhere recently that women speak roughly 3 times as much as men on any given day. More likely that they would be lying just due to more words. Although men would be hiding the truth more, which amounts to about the same.

I think women lie more then men because most of the time they are asked how old are they. The women will reveal an age that is really younger then their actual age. No women wants to reveal how old they "really are".

Men.
Men are taught to avoid their feelings and put up a front, while Women are taught to use their emotions, and in general are expected to be "more emotional"...
Men then lie, or deny.
Women, knowing this, have to pick up the slack.
Gays and Lesbians are caught in between this.

That's an easy one...Women of course :o)
We have no choice because men can be so un-understanding. We lie about who we've been out with, how much we paid for our shoes and our age of course :o)
Be a little more understanding and we women would not have to lie as much.

Lying is not a character trait of one gender or another.
We lie in different ways or for different reasons, maybe. But neither side is immune.
