You can use Outlook Express to download Yahoo emails without upgrading to the paid for Yahoo Plus mail. You need to download a small freeware program called YPOPS from
http://www.softpedia.com/get/Internet/E-mail/Mail-Utilities/YahooPOPs.shtml
I have set it up & it works great. I have been trying for ages to do this & then I stumbled on this little program.

PS If you have wireless internet connection & are interested in a step by step guide on how to set this email thing up please ask.

Hi!

Yes, there actually is. It is called The Bat. It enables you to read mails from yahoo, even if you don't have a paid account (and thus SNMP and POP access is disabled).
You should try it out!

Good luck!

you won't be able to do it in those settings. once you take advantage of IE to bypass to the login web page for Yahoo mail, bypass to 'equipment', 'information superhighway concepts', 'elect present day'. which will take you to the yahoo login web page instantly away.
