I read that post in forum last night. And although some of the idiots will pass, many of them will not. Like the idiots here now, asking extermination questions and pubic hair questions and the whole group of idiots that gossip and rant about their favorite shiraz and ******** like that. Have they no SELF-RESPECT?

bereal1 - You only laugh because of your own insecurities. There's nothing funny about being an idiot . Famous quote: Fat, drunk and stupid are no way to go through life.

That last quote was from Animal House. I know I was immature at 17, but I also knew the difference between stupidity and self-respect.

I would absolutely love a website similar to answers where people needed to pass an IQ test to sign on. Not only would it eliminate idiots from speaking on things in which they are not qualified, but it would advance conversation and really open people up to new bins of knowledge.
Please someone start a site like this!

Yes, let's do it. I think also we should bring back voting laws like being a land owning white male and literacy tests.
This is the United States of America. No matter what the IQ of the participant they get to participate. I don't like what they say a lot of times, nor how they say it, but that's the way our system works. You can always report them or just ignore them. "Ain't America Grand."

To an extent, yes I do, as well as a grammar test. It is a shame truly, when many on this site are older than 18 years, yet have the brain capacity and grammar of a child.

Unfortunately IQ tests aren't an accurate indicator of intellect, but I do agree that some sort of test should be used to stop the truly stupid people from showing up.

No, because IQ has nothing to do with knowledge.
An IQ test is simply a rough measure of a person's *aptitude* to learning -- how well you learn, not how much you've learned. By studying hard, a person with a low IQ can know more than somebody with a high IQ who is lazy and doesn't study. Lots of lower-IQ people are "smarter" than lots of high-IQ people.

Don't take all of our fun away... Whose idiotic attempts to sound educated and informed will be left for us to laugh at!!?
Your snobbery is quaint , laughing as my insecurity, I don't think so.. Its best to find some humor in everything . You really should lighten up some....
"The man who makes everything that leads to happiness depends upon himself, and not upon other men, has adopted the very best plan for living happily. This is the man of moderation, the man of manly character and of wisdom." -
