Wouldn't there be widespread ,and very vocal condemnation amongst Christians If someone killed in the name of their religion? Would they stand by psssively and watch it continue,and would any of them harbor the guilty ones?
Muslims have it in their hands to stop all the killing and madness. Yet ----silence from most.

BOOKISH---The way to stop the killing is ,indeed, in the hands of Muslims. If they speak out strongly againt those who murder in their name, the terrorists might not feel justified in continuing.
Christians, I'm sure you know, would definately shout out against murders that continue to be comitted in their name.

Hey Bottles I want to thank you for answering my post earlier. Youre right though its a double standard. Why arent the quiet Muslims speaking out against the violent ones? Because they agree. They claim they can not go against fellow Muslims. So by definition they are agreeing because they choose to be silent.
Its one big happy and violent, religious fanatical, screwed up in the head, satanic family
And frankly anyone who thinks they are not falls into the same category. Silence & complacency is the same as supportive and condoning. If you dont stand for something you'll fall for anything

The "quiet" Muslims aren't speaking out because, hey, they're "quiet." Do Christians speak out when a Christian does something violent? No, they say, "That doesn't represent all of us." In fact, the perpetrator's religion doesn't seem to enter into it, if that religion is a Christian one.
The guy who killed those Amish girls was Christian. Nobody called him a terrorist, nobody said, look at those horrible Christians killing innocent girls.
Sitting around on yahoo answers bashing Muslims isn't going to further the cause of peace one little bit--but then again, that's not the intent, is it?

Its a fanatic thing, you don't say nothing about the Holy Clerics who called for the Jihad. Its like saying something against Allah and we know from their reaction on the Pope's comments, they will kill you for being negative.
These people are scared cause they know that in the name of religion, they could be murdered, and many are every single day, not only in Iraq, but elsewhere too.

There are millions of Muslims that condemn the violence by so-called Muslims. Maybe you should try broadening the media from which you get your information. Maybe you should go to Iraq and find out for yourself. Too bad the U.S. has made that more unsafe for you than it has ever been.

What about those hardcore Christians who bomb abortion clinics in the name of religion? I am not trying to start a debate about abortion here, but its still murder and I dont recall the christian community being hugely vocal and speaking out against it.
And there are many Muslims speaking out- its just not reported on American news.

My example was--If a group of methodists began killing innocent people by the hundreds and thousands, wouldn't EVERY PREACHER AND MINISTER IN THIS COUNTRY SPEAK OUT AGAINST IT. YOU BET THEY WOULD.
