During the 1970's a British mathematician was one of the nominees for a Nobel Prize after proving that time travel is theoretically possible. He proved that it is possible to travel forward in time but that it was impossible to travel back beyond the time that the time travel machine was built. I can't remember any more details, but your first step is going to have to be finding his paper.

I think you would have to order some of the materials from other countries. And even some of the tools you would need to put the bolts & screws in. Very complicated machine to build.
Google it to find a good technician because you don't want to take the chance on messing it up. No telling where you would end up. :)

Okay, the problem with time machines is that there is no lever to choose the past or present...This is a problem because if you put in (for example) 500 years, the machine will send you right in between 500 years in the future and 500 years in the past. which is the present...

All of these guys are wrong, you can totally make a time travel machine. The secret is Jerry Curl and oven cleaner, but becareful, you wouldn't want the Jerry Curl touching your sking.

Okay first get a BIG box. big enough to stand in. Now, Color it blue with red dots. Find an egg timer and tape it to the top of the box. And there is your machine.
To use, stand in box for 1 hour, when you get out, it will be 60 minutes in the future!

You want to backward or forward with the time, so you can reverse the direction of the earth rotation, It is impossible to be man made.
