Leaving the retail industry for good. After I graduated from high school, all I was qualified to do was work in the sales industry being a cashier. However, I knew that working in this occupatuion would let me be in the poor house because I knew that it didn't make enough money to make a living. I really wanted to go to my local community college, but my father never gave me any financial support. So, I worked my butt off in this occupation until I finally saved enough money on my own to go to my local community college. I ended up with an Associates Degree and still no was hiring for the skills that I learned from this school. (the job market became tighter) So I waited and waited until a position finally turned up at the Federal Reserve Bank . It was a long term position, but I was let go after I worked there for 6 months because the dept. I worked at made some changes and they no longer need my services. Now that I have some work experience, I don't have to worry about going into that industry ever again.

It's a question like this that makes me realize hoe negative I am! I wish I had something as important as children! My whole life seems to be about learning to appreciate real things, and the love and friends I do have. I'm glad that I'm clean and sober now, but there is nothing that is climatic enough to be "the best thing"...

Once I won a trip to Europe from one of those McDonald's contests. I peeled the sticker off the cup, and there it was! Yes, people really win those things.

I will have to give two answers. (1) The moment I told my Mom that I got accepted to law school and (2) The moment my old boss decided to hire the wonderful person that I now share my life with.
