A new co-worker has had some trouble as his Active Directory profile wasn't set up properly with a shared directory that existed. The profile is roaming and he could log onto the network, but all his info was stored in a directory called TEMP in Documents and Settings on his computer. We got his profile configured so it points to a share that exists on the server, but it synched up with that share and now the TEMP directory is gone from his computer. Is the information contained in the TEMP profile recoverable or is it gone? Thanks!

You should have copied the profile data to another location prior to reconfiguring his profile. Do you have volume shadow copy enabled on his computer? If so, the directory and data should still be there in shadow copy.
If not, I think you may be toast.

check in docs and settings while logged in as a domain admin. generally there will be his old profile along with a compy of his cached new profile. Although I can't speak for the process you used to fix it.
