In the race that is called life are you more likely to be in 1st position knowing that others are breathin down your neck but you feel that you can handle the pressure of being 1st

OR are you one of those who feel comfortable just behind 1st and then towards the end, overtake. but you know that within this position you cannot afford to make mistakes as the gap might widen or you know you mite have to rely on mistakes on the person in front of you.

Or are you just one stuck in the middle of the race and just along nicely and gently.

Or are just last!? What position would you say u r? it might be one dat I haven't mentioned

I used to be last in every thing no matter how I tried I couldn't keep up with everybody. Then I decided that no matter what happens I would do the best that I can to reach my goals. For me everything has been a struggle. No trophies , no parades ,no awards just the satisfaction of been able to help many climb the mountain and enjoying the view together.

Well it is said that he who is last will be first. Seems to me being first is certainly competitive and if competition is what you want it is then the only place to be. And all else who are in the race are just a worthy for it is in the end the it is not even how you complete the race, its the fact that you did.

There is of course one you left out....the spectator. Where does he/she fit in. Some who just sit and watch, are they without value to the race, those who cheer the racers on, don't they have value to the whole, and those who participate with helping those that are racing, can it be then that everyone is actually in the race, doing his/her part so as the race may of begun at all. So that we might experience this thing we call life.

If it's a race, then Im a spectator - I watch, experience and see for myself but do not feel compelled to join in with those who think they have to be the best to succeed at living - sometimes I might even get bored with watching and go exploring whilst everyone else is rushing headlong towards ambitious ends they only think they desperately need.

Or maybe Im just lazy

Wow, I'm sure glad I don't live in your world. Races and overtaking, ready for the kill. Can conquest and domination be far behind? Remember, there are 5 billion people in the world, give or take a billion or so Chinese. There is a name for everyone who doesn't finish first. You like those odds? I don't play dat!

I don't race. I drift through life, quietly content in the thought that, though much may be passing me by, I know the difference between mite and might, and don't say dat when I mean that in an attempt to sound cool.

I'm more likely to be in 1st position b/c I thrive under pressure and one of my main goals in life is to be the greatest. People who are comfortable being in second are fools who make it that much easier to become number one. And people in the middle who like being in the middle are the reasons why welfare and social security had to be invented. People just expect other people to take care of them when they should really provide for themselves. Spending most of your life working may not sound good at first, but the benefits show up when you're no longer able to work.

I've never even been in the race, I'm a spectator! I sit on the sidelines watching them huffing and puffing to be first and struggling at the back. Whilst sitting back and watching the race go by, I have time to stare at the sky and gaze at the stars!

I'm 1st. I'm controversial. I can stand the pressure. I speak my mind, but can hold my tongue if needs must. I'll be waiting for the appropriate moment.
No one gets the better of me in the long run. AND, I have a memory like the proverbial elephant. I never forget.

When I next sit watching the London marathon I will try and spot you jostling for glory . The only race I am in is the human race and I don't give a twopenny fig where I come . P.S. You don't go in for road rage do you ??
