That's fine and the further along you go there will be times you measure ahead of the gestational age and times you measure behind.Alot depends on the person taking the measurements during the scan. I had was very high risk and had ultrasounds every 2 weeks until I was 28 weeks pregnant then weekly until I delivered at 35 weeks. Sometimes he measured ahead of what he really was other times behind. Congrats on being so lucky with your first IVF round, friends of mine have done it 3 times and haven't had luck. And just so you know my baby wasn't a huge baby he was just under 7 pounds but being on bed rest with him and a high calorie diet {and steroid shots} to insure he'd be as big as possible when I delivered helped out in that area. I wasn't expected to carry beyond 28 weeks but I did. Amazing what good medical care can do

Thats perfectly normal. Even the ultrasound can be off a little when determining how big baby is. Your due date is measured by your last period and your baby most likely was not conceived that day. So it will almost always be off by a little bit. As long as the due date and where the baby is measuring isnt too big of a difference then everything is fine. Congratulations and enjoy pregnancy!!!!

That is fine. Not much of a difference. At the doctor office I measure 16 weeks pregnant, but Im 17 weeks according to my last period. Dont worry about that.

Don't worry, as accurate as ultra scans are they are not perfect. I had one done one week before my daughter was born, the Dr. was concerned because he said she would be lucky if she weighed 5 lbs. She weighed 6 lbs. 11 oz. I know she didn't gain that much weight in 1 week. Just make sure to eat healthy and it will be fine.

An ultrasound can be plus or minus ten days. You may not measure exactly what you are.

I know this because my doctor said my due date would stay the same even though i was techinically 21 weeks but baby measured 19 1/2 weeks. She said it is plus or minus ten days and thatis why it wills tay the same.

Having given birth to a small baby (5 lb. 15 oz.) I can understand your concern. But if the doc is ok with it, then don't worry about it. I'm sure you and the baby will do just fine.

Each baby develops at his own pace. I measured right on target with mine, until about 20 weeks, I measured 23, and it kept going up because he weighed 9lbs 1 oz, and was a big baby.

I am a mother myself, I had 4 kids and there is nothen to worry about each pregnancy is different, if there is a good heartbeat and u feel a lil movement you should not worry about it.
