They have only been in session for 60 days this term. I guess it must be because they are fresh out of ideas. I hate to pay for something I don't get, and I don't get how with all the serious stuff going on they can just go home. They better not ask me for overtime either, especially since they don't want others to get it.
On the plus side, they haven't screwed up worse than they did and they could have if they had come to Washington more often.

Does anyone want them to lower spending yet, or are we going to wait until they have totally spent us down the river? It always fascinates me at the myriad of ways they find to waste and inefficiently allocate our money and some people still wish to give them more. What fools.

The majority of Congressmen are a despicable bunch who do nothing to act in the best long term interests of this country (like many of their constituents). They will never change because people are too uninformed to know any better and demand change, and that is a shame.

Liberal news source so you will see a liberal outcome. Why not ask real Americans so not too bad if 37 out of 100 democrats like Bush.

It makes sense. This congress rolls over for Bush and worries about flag burning instead of focusing on the real issues.

The last poll on republicans was down to 18%.
