A Biography is a story that someone writes about someone else. An Autobiography is when someone writes about themselves. A biography is in 1st person and an autobiography is in 3rd person.

As far as I am aware a biography can be written by anyone about a specific person, but an autobiography must be written by that person.

A biography is the life story written by another person, ie not the subject themselves. An autobiography is the life story written by the subject. Although if you believe jordan can string two words together about her own pointless existence you'll believe anything.
