Hi! If the baby is trying to crawl out then maybe you should drop the mattress to the lowest setting and drop the side so that he/she can get in and out safely by himself.Just a thought. Some beds convert to toddler beds where you can remove the side railing. I would check with that but I don't think a mesh cover will do much to prevent it. If anything you can use a twin size mattress and put on one of those side guards to prevent from rolling off at night but still allows them to crawl in and out safely. Good luck.

Actually, those mesh tents are designed to keep your pets out of the crib...I guess they could be used either way! I would try Babies R Us, or any other department store (Wal-Mart, for example). You may also want to try a pet supplies store (just a suggestion) in case they stock them there. How old is your child? If he/she is climbing out of the crib, it may be time for the good old toddler bed (my son just went to a toddler bed 2 weeks ago, and is doing an incredible job with it....just be patient!!)

You can get them at Babies R Us, but I agree with the other answers. If your child is strong enough to climb out of crib this probably will be more of a danger then help. Time for a toddler bed! We are making this transition right now in our house! Good luck1

If they are strong enough to climb out they will be strong enough to get seriously tangled in pretty much any fabric like substance you put over the bed.
Your best bet is to lower the mattress so that the sides will be higher for him/her. Most cribs have this sort of adjustment. If it is already on the lowest setting, well, it's time to baby proof the house...

OK I know you are looking for advice on where to find them but I would just like to share my tent story about my son before you buy one: when he was about 14 months old he managed to yank the thing so hard that he was able to get his head and shoulders under the bottom part and got stuck like that in the middle of the night. I woke to him crying through the monitor and it took me a good couple minutes to get the thing off him. At that point I moved him to a toddler bed and had no troubles since :) I hope this might give you something to consider. Good luck no matter what you decide :)

If your baby is trying to climb out of the crib, it is time to switch to either a toddler bed or to place the mattress on the floor. Cribs are not cages.

for all the money you spent on the crib, your child shouldnt be able to climb out of it. but if that is the case, then you need a toddler bed with rails.
