I don't get it - a bunch of people decided that they do not like a country e.g. Britain because it is involved in killing "our brothers" in the middle east but they detonate bombs that kill 'brothers' in the UK (muslim people died in the London bombings).

So maybe its because they do not like the way we live in a free, multicultural and fantastic country so why don't they just leave? What makes them think they can play god and choose / force by fear what people should think and do?

So, can anybody tell me if these people have any point what-so-ever or are they really just completely warped and sick individuals (I am trying to understand!)?

Not all terrorists are Muslim this must be the first point you must understand. Having accepted that read as many books as you can about freedom struggles todays terrorists become tomorrows statesmen. Mandela a good and great man was branded a terrorist. The UK had its fair share of terrorist activity during the heyday of the IRA, please accept that the media are in part responsible for the view you have of things and try to widen you knowledge about what constitutes terrorism and what brings it about. Suicide deaths are not condoned by Islam it goes against the principles of the faith. Fanatics who twist the teachings of Islam are a minority but a well publicised one. I am sorry to see this continued anti Muslim feeling in Britain. Are we losing our values of tolerance and justice? Good luck in your search for understanding if you are really sincere in this it proves all is not lost and some people want to find solutions other than constant criricism and violence.

They are warped but at the same time they do have some legitimate complaints & they might say they cannot leave as their families are here.

The West has been interfering in the Middle East for centuries, so although I can never agree with their methods I have to admit I can understand their bitterness. For instance, we have lost a couple of hundred brave lads who were serving in Iraq & Afghanistan but a Muslim could justifiably point to tens of thousands of dead Muslims in those countries because of the interference of the USA & UK.

I think what they hate about the UK is that we all lived happily side by side here for years until 9/11! (Multi cultralism) I think the point is wanting to raise cultural tensions and make us hate Muslims and fight each other!

The British and US governments of the 1980s did invent and help the Taliban for their own interests! We are now reaping what we sowed!

In reality there's no ideology behind terrorism at all. These are just a bunch of inadequate's and plain stupid people who just want their little bit of power as they see it. If they don't like it here they should leave. I'd do a simple deal with the muslim's, you leave our country and we'll leave yours.
