Give me a rugged, but clean man any day of the week. I like a man to have a daily shower, shave etc., but do not expect him to be in the bathroom pampering himself for hours on end. Do not like men getting manicures and eybrow waxes either - have you seen David Beckham's eyebrows?

My ex was a metrosexual, he was always messing around with his hair long after I was done! He pinched my foundation, had a facial sunlamp and claimed it was mine - I am VERY fair skinned!! - so he did not think of himself as a metrosexual.
Personally, I think whatever floats your boat is OK, however when a man nicks his girlfriends make up I had to draw the line! I like a man that takes care of himself, but still to be a man, bulging in the right places, a bit hot and sweaty occasionally so I can breathe in the maleness. I think a bit between the 2 extremes would be perfect. A smelly man who scrubs up well!!! LOL!

I have a European background and live in America. I love that American men are becoming what you call metrosexual. It does not have to go to the extent of taking more time in the bathroom than I do, but I'm all for straight guys who care about what they wear as much as gays do.

Give me a man who looks after his person hygiene and pays a bit of attention to his nose hair/fingernails etc any day of the week.
And as for shopping, what's more useful to me? A guy who can help at shopping time or one that's playing rugby.
Give me 'new man'!

well I like a guy to be clean & presentable, especially if going somewhere nice, but at the point when he has more beauty products than I do & takes longer to get ready that's just wierd ... not attractive at all

No if I had to compete for the bathroom I would go mad! As for shopping there (men) are better off at home babysitting.

just because a guy is merterosexual doesn't mean he'll take forever, or longer than myself in the bathroom.

I'd love to be married to someone who loved to be clean and smart instead of someone who hates bathing and washing
