when your at the cheat 'prompt' type rosebud;!
and repeat the ;! until you can't anymore then hit enter.
(it might be !; after rosebud but I think the first way is correct)
and you can do it repeatedly.

If you only own The Orignal Sims the type into the cheat box : klapaucius
If you own any expansion packs the type into the cheat box : rosebud
Each time you do this you will get 1000 sims. To get more add '; ; ; ; ; ; ; ;' after the word and each ';' will give you another 1000 sims.

While playing the game, press [Ctrl] + [Shift] + C and enter the "klapaucius" code. Then, display the cheat prompt again and type "!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!" (up to sixty total commands may be entered).
AND
1000 Simoleons (unpatched game version) klapaucius
1000 Simoleons (patched game version) rosebud
