Every baby is different. Luckily my 10-month old hasn't had any trouble with shots.
Keep in mind though that babies dehydrate VERY easily. Make sure he's taking in LOTS of fluids to compensate for diarrhea.
Diarrhea Can Be Dangerous
The average baby has diarrhea three times in the first year. Infant diarrhea has many different causes. It can be serious if the baby loses a lot of fluid and becomes dehydrated.
During diarrhea, babies lose fluid and important minerals (known as electrolytes) from their bodies. Excessive fluid loss caused by diarrhea can lead quickly to dehydration, especially if the baby is also vomiting. Severe dehydration may require the baby to be hospitalized to have fluid replaced.
Be sure to call your pediatrician if your infant has persistent diarrhea or you note any of the following signs of dehydration:
Less frequent urination (fewer wet diapers)
Dry mouth
Few tears
Overly sleepy or overly fussy
Sunken eyes
The BabyCentre page has this to say about vaccines:
"How can I tell if my baby is having an adverse reaction to a vaccine?" http://www.babycenter.com/expert/baby/babyills/babyvaccine/11477.html
It doesn't seem to mention diarrhea as a common side effect... maybe he picked up something else in the waiting room?
A good rule of thumb is that "Sick Babies Look Sick." Is he not looking/behaving right, or is it just diarrhea? If he's playing and happy then he's likely just fine and it will run its course.
Mommy instincts are good ones. If it really doesn't seem right then call the doctor or see another one.
Hope he feels better soon. Take care.

Each child can react differently to vaccines. My 5 month old got 5 shots last week and he had a fever, congestion and was grumpy for about 5 days. I have two other children that never got affected by their shots. Just make sure he is getting a lot of fluids like water so he doesn't get dehydrated and read all of the paperwork given to you on all of the shots he was given. I'm sure you will watch over him well and make sure he survives it just fine. Just remember that he has a whole lot more shots to go through over the next 2 years too. Good Luck.

a vaccine normally gives u a minor dose of whatever u've been vaccinated against.
he'll have a temperature & feel a bit rough 4 a few days.
try not 2 worry, it's still better 2 protect, than just hope they don't catch the diseases.
give him another couple of days 2 give the vaccine time 2 calm down, c how he is & if ur still concerned c a doc.

I say take him into the ER. Having diarrhea for 3 days in a 2 month old is harsh and could cause dehydration and possibly be fatal. And I would suggest you find a new pediatrician. For him to blow off something that is potentially serious is a red flag that he is a lousy ped's doctor. Hope your son gets better.

each and every vaccine is composed of three influenza viruses-one A (H3N2) virus, one A (H1N1) virus, and one B virus. The swine flu vaccine for the N1H1 virus is being researched by ability of quite a few companies. Novavax, which began engaged on a vaccine for the N1H1 virus till now this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, says it produced the 1st batch of the vaccine in might. It purely takes time to end the genetic engineering, manufacture and get the FDA approval of the inventory mandatory to mass produce the virus.

I don't remember my son getting diarrhea from his shots, but he usually got a low grade temp.
I would say that if the diarrhea continues for more then another day or 2, you should just make an appt an bring your son in to the doc.
