How do I get my thinkpad T60 out of standby mode? Fn + F4 does not work.?

I have tried both of the answers posted, any other thoughts?

try the start up button/the power button.

The standard technique for waking a Thinkpad back up again is to press just the Fn key. If that fails - then pressing the power on/off key is the next step.
