Ive been through there. Everyone seemed liked they were in a bad mood. I figured it was the weather Im from L.A. where theres lots of *******

I'm born and raised in St. Louis for 53 years. I'm only mean to those who consent. Who are you talking about? Every culture all over the world contains people who aren't socially acceptable, St. Louis isn't any different. Perhaps you need to choose better friends?

Maybe you're hanging around the wrong people. I've lived in St. Louis all my life and have never met any residents or visitors who felt the same way as you.

I lived in the Lou back in the 80s; and the only part where they were crazy was East St. Louis, is it all over now? I'm sorry, but, I can't answer that one.

That's not a fair generalization. All people from St. Louis are not mean, any more than all New Yorkers are rude. Maybe that's been your personal experience, but that doesn't make it true.

I am here - and I honestly don't think I am mean. I really try hard to be a good person. I moved over to Belleville in 2001 when I bought my home. That's never been my experience. I'm guessing either you did something to bring it on yourself, or you're not very good at choosing friends.
