Biologically, the point to life is to reproduce. While humans have evolved more complex levels of consciousness, most of the things we still do are reproductively driven. As for the meaning of life....that is not a biological question but rather a philosophical one. As for the reasons for the origin of life...there may not be a "reason"...and even if there were, we may never discover it. Whatever the reason, life may be a gift or a curse, depending on your circumstances. Make the best of it. You may not get anything else.

What is the answer to a flea copulating with an elephant? What is the meaning of a flower? There is no answer--it simply is.

Many people think we should find the meaning of life; but the act of creating meaning (human as meaning-making machine) distracts us from the true bounty of life, which is to simply experience it.

You need to silence the chattering monkey of the mind. He speaks only nonsense.

Just one thing, and you have to decide what that one thing is, no one else can do it for ya. As for me the answer is happiness. If there is no happiness in life, what good is it to live it.

There is no answer as there is no question, you are here. If you want to know how, read a biology text book. If you want to know why, read a philosophy book.
