platinum or gold?
Well if you go white gold it looks almost like platinum who would know the difference.
Platinum is a softer metal then gold and should only be worn for special occassions, not an everyday type of material.
I have both I love my platinum ring but only wear it once in a while, so i am in the process of changing it to a white gold band.
I gues it just depends on how much you are going to wear it.

Platinum. It's pretty and gold ugly. Unless it's white or rose gold, but platinum is still prettier. I like white metals.

PLATINUM!! gold is so two seconds ago! Besides platinum is reeeeeeeeeeeeally rare- if all the world's resources of platinum were put into one Olympic sized swimming pool it would only just cover your ankles!
