"Starlight, star bright, first star I see tonight:
I wish I may, I wish I might, have this wish I wish tonight."

I must have chanted that with my best friend, Molly, a million times during my teenage years. The wishes always had something to do with boys, dates, kisses. ...Some came true, some didn't. I don't think the star or the wish had anything to do with it though.

I have and realized that all my wishes regardless of whether or not they come true have always benefitted me for the best. I have wished once for something and oddly enough it came true. It only took five years though. Sometimes I find that my wishes happen when I least expect.

Yes. But I also prayed before and after wishing on the star.
My wish came true but it's become rather annoying and now I have managed to destroy my friend's dream due to it!

Becareful what you wish for ;)
