Everyone ovulates at a different time. To find out when you ovulate and how best to schedule some baby-making, start taking and charting your Basal Body Temperatures (BBT).
To check your basal body temperature, start keeping track of your temperature on the first day of your period using a basal body thermometer (you can buy one at any pharmacy), which shows minute changes in your temperature. You should take your temperature as soon as you wake up and before you get out of bed. If you can, take your basal body temperature at the same time every morning. When you have done this mark it on a chart.
It's helpful to chart your temperature for a few months so you can see whether there's a pattern to your cycle. If you're sick or fail to take your temperature immediately upon awakening, any pattern you find may be inaccurate. Thermometers that remember the last reading are helpful if you tend to go back to sleep after taking your temperature.
Also check your cervical mucus. There are three ways you can do this: using toilet paper or your fingers across the opening of your vagina, wearing a panty liner (which is sometimes hard to detect) or inserting your finger into your vagina. Note the consistency of the mucus. You may also want to monitor its texture throughout the day. If it’s clear and slippery, about the consistency of raw egg white, then you’re at your most fertile.
You should notice a rise in your temperature signaling that you have ovulated at the same time your mucus will look and feel like egg white. When the two coincide, then you know it's time to start trying to conceive.

Its normally around 14 days after the first day of your period but this might not be the case as every women is different some women ovulate before that and some later than 14 days. I also have a 28 day cycle and i ovulate around day 20 so maybe get some ovulation tests and start to test from day 13 onwards just to be sure.

the month before 31 days last month 24 if I am correct I should I should be ovulating tomorrow
I have also buy a clear blue digital ovulation test it did not work last month so this month I am going to make love evryday until I have my p again
by the way I did the same last month the doc did an ULtra sound
and I had a sac but I was in so much pain I have my p the day after the Ultra sound (it seems that I was preg but did not have a yolk in the sac)
so don't worried about when you ovulate just have sex every day or two day until your next cycle
Good Luck

My ob/gyn told me to count back 14 days from the day that your period starts, because your period starts approx. 14 days after you ovulate. Some women ovulate earlier in their cycle and some later. Not all women ovulate on day number 14 of their cycles. That is a myth, so don't depend on that. So for you, it appears that you ovulate somewhere between days 10 and 12 of your cycle. Another way you can figure out when you ovulate is to get an ovulation predictor kit. You can get these at your local drug store. The ones I used said to start using them on day 8 or 9 of my cycle, but since my cycles vary extrememly from month to month, I started mine on days 2 or 3 and used them until they showed ovulation. Be aware that you can get pregnant by having unprotected intercourse up to 4-5 days before you actually ovulate.

I didn't want to take my temperature every morning, but after 5months of trying and spending tons of money on ovulation predictor kits, I gave in and bought a thermometer.

This month, I actually saw when I ovulated!!! I chart my temps daily at fertilityfriend.com

I can't say yet if it works (give me another week or so) but I was amazed at how your body's temps can change

You can figure out a general time that you will be fertile, and try for that week. If you want to know exactly when you ovulate you can buy ovulation predictor strips.

Ovulation predictor kits can tell you. Also, fertility monitors by ClearBlue Easy are great. The cost $200, but they analyze your urine and tell you when your high and peak days are for trying.
I got pregnant the first month I used it.

Go to webmd.com and get a fertility calendar.... They also have a part of their site where they tell you how to do just that (figure out your fertile days), but it takes a lot of your time (you have to take your temp at a certain time of the day, evaluate discharge, etc.)
