2 weeks ago, I made a big mistake. My best friend, who is a 23 yr. old (I am a 17 yr old guy), was getting ready to move. I tried to get ahold of her because she said she would call me sometime that weekend and didn't. I couldn't ge ahold of her so I ended up driving by her house a lot to see if she was home. I also left a letter on her door. She got very mad at me and told me to keep my distance. I have spent the last 2 weeks trying to apologize to her. I know what I did was wrong & stupid & I wish I could change that. The other day I recieved a voicemail from her. She said that I still need to keep my distance and that she will still be my friend but that's it. I sent her one last letter in the mail apologizing to her again. I am going to listen to her and keep my distance for awhile but my mistake is hurting me. I have known this for a very long time and now it seems like she doesn't want to hang around me anymore. Does anyone know how I can get her to be my friend again?

It sounds like you have feelings for ... that's more than just friends... true or false... she wants her space... probably because she knows that you have strong feelings for her... she doesn't want to lead you on to think that there could or will be more to the relationship... she is using the fact that you driving by is the reason for you to back off... in a normal friendship there is nothing wrong for you to just drop by to see someone that is moving... this leads me to believe there's more to her distancing herself from you... she's trying to ease you out of the picture... know thiscan be painful... in time the pain will subside... look towards other friends and activities to get your mind of this and move on... it might be best to stick with people your own age... someone older don't take the younger one as serious...
Hope this helps... the truth hurts... take care!!!
