You spend 4 years getting a cake degree. Can't make **** money with it. You must really go to a PhD to make real money. But even with a PhD if you equate the amount of time spent you would of made more in the eng field or other real scientific/medical field with a B.S. and starting. Your career starts when your old. I have a B.S. in Computer Science I started make 55K at the age of 23 I'm working on my Masters. By the time i'm in my 30s I will probably be making over 100K even with a B.S. Why don't people pick more praticle degrees. ......

You might be confusing psychology with sociology. Psychology is a much more respected degree than you think, while sociology always seemed like a fluff major to me.

Most people with a BS in Psychology don't work as psychologists -- they go into other business fields. A Psych degree -- together with some marketing courses might be a better education for someone who wants to be in marketing thatn a straight business degree.

If it doesn't appeal to you -- get that degree in Computer Sciences.
