if he is using drugs again then you need to back off ...dont be an enabler...enabling him...i dont mean by giving him money for drugs...i mean by staying with him and allowing him to feel you accept his behavior will cause him to get comfortable in his role as an addict...if he loses everything including you and he hits rock bottom he might change...good luck

What do you mean "he's not right"?
And unless he's drinking/drugging again, what does that have to do with anything?
And if you are sitting here typing this it means a part of you has already decided that you don't want to be with him, look within yourself, is this guy who you want or would you be staying around simply because you've been together this long? Dont' ever settle for less than perfect-for-you.

Addicts are addicts for life. If your going to be with someone who has an addiction you always have to be ready for a relapse. I personally wouldn't start a relationship with someone who is addicted to something because I know the addiction is stronger than anything else. If you care for him though you might want to help him through this tough time. But remember, its a life sentence.

Only you know if you should give it another chance. Are you really feeling him? Do you want to be with him? Is the relationship worth it?

If you love him then help him. It is difficult getting off drugs or to stop drinking. He could be going through withdrawl, now is the time to be there for him. Be proud of his accomplishments.

Send him back to rehab, then see where the relationship is.
