The actual replacement is not that hard. Is it a pressure tank or water pump? They're two different things. Sounds like you're talking about a pressure tank.

If so, why do you want to change it? To have higher pressure? Changing the tank will not give you higher pressure. You have to adjust the settings on the pump first.

If I have the wrong impression, then sorry. But, one thing you must realize, is that when there's a pump, there's wiring. If you dont' know much about electrical, hire someone. You don't want to end up electrocuting yourself, shorting something out, (then it'll cost you twice as much as you will have to hire someone to fix what you fried), or wrecking the pump altogether.

Ok, so I change my answer
it's till pretty easy.
Buy your new one, on screw the old one plus take off
the wires from the contact screws and replace it with the new one.

STILL (TURN OFF POWER)
