I love Santa Clause the movie and obviously snow but let me know what makes you get in the Christmas mood.

Being home while it is snowing outside, inside nice and warm, maybe some christmas music and a nice warm scented candle burning (hot cinnamon bun), wrapping christmas presents. A decorated Christmas tree with the lights on at nighttime (and no others) is always a good mood-setter.

I would have to say local decorations. Macy's window in Manhattan used to really do it for me. No city does it better than the Big Apple!
I have been down south for over 10 years now and something about the site of a Palm tree decorated in Christmas lights, just makes me queasy. I haven't been in the holiday spirit since relocating to the "Phallus of the country."

Dreary, damp, foggy weather outside. As soon as Christmas songs come on that really puts me in the mood. Also mince pies always make me think of Christmas and clementines as Santa always left one in my stocking every year!

The weather changing is the start of it...but then i see stores putting out Christmas things and i get so excited...We dont have snow(wished we did) but i love Christmas time...Its the sharing and family that is awesome!

snowflakes ah never really get proper snow in England but in Poland there is actually a real winter- up to 2m of snow in the mountains wooo hooo! Also Christmas spirit, all the family getting together...:)

When I go shopping and the mall is all decked out with x-mas decorations and all you hear on the radio is Christmas Music!!

Going to the grocery and seeing the first displays of holiday items, right now Kroger has .99 glasses with holly leaves on them
Hallmark always has the funnest ornaments and dislplays and they are working on them now
Mostly, what gets me thinking Christmas is watching my son react to the commercials on TV advertising this and that and telling me he wants it, me knowing that "Santa" will provide
