This is a totally personal judgement call. Scenario: My husband was fooling around with his friend's phone and stumbled upon a short clip of his wife naked. I got upset, we had a fight. I don't want anything to do with the couple now. Mainly because it'll be awkward now when we see them. I don't really like his friend anyway but his wife seems pretty nice. She feels really badly and says she doesn't want to lose me as a friend. I just don't feel comfortable around them anymore and more importantly I have never felt like I could really trust either one of them. What would you do?

Tough one.

Okay I'm sure you've seen other women naked before.

It wasn't YOUR husbands phone, was it?

Yet.

A gut feeling of not being ......comfortable around someone, or a couple is hard to ignore.

If their friendship with your husband is terribly important to HIM, you might try to be cordial to them. It doesn't mean you have to be chummy though.

Good luck.

I have to ask. Why was your husband "fooling around with his friend's phone?" He should not have watched the clip, but I figure he's a man. You feel awkward now--did you watch the clip too? Just asking. However, this was his friend's phone, and said friend can have whatever he wants on it. The friend enjoys having a clip of his WIFE on it. How great is it that he enjoys his own wife? You don't like his friend. Obviously, there is more to it. From this short scenario, it seems you're just trying to reason this as an excuse to break the friendship. Very shallow...oops, that would mean I'm judging you. People can have many acquaintances, but friends are few. Please, think it over long and very carefully before you decide.

Honestly I think you are over reacting.

Why your husband had his friend's phone is something I'm not sure I understand, but it's not your husband's friend or his wife's fault your husband was being nosey and found the clip of the woman naked.
It might be akward at first, but if you can learn to laugh about it, after all, it was an accident and your husband's fault, not the couple, then you should be able to still be friends.

The fact that you for some reason don't trust this couple is a seperate problem. You shouldn't group the two problems together like they are one. It's not like the wife of your husband's friend came onto your husband. It sounds like they genuinely feel badly that you are so upset over it.

I personally think you should try to laugh about it, and let it go...
I mean I can think of a time when my sister's breast popped out of her shirt and my boyfriend got a good eyefull. It's ridiculous to be mad about those kind of situations because sh** happens. I just laugh about it, and it's a big joke in our family now.

This was a private clip made by two people who are commited to each other, it is unfortunate that your husband saw it, but it was an accident, it is not like his friend said " hey ya wanna see my wife naked?" They have done nothing to compromise the friendship and I dont see why you would even ask if you should end it.

You're being a prude and not very understanding to anyone else except your own insecurities.

Apologise to your husband and friends for overreacting and get on with life - seeing a small video clip on a phone is no reason to break friendships and crack your marriage.

It is not the other couples fault that YOUR hubby saw something personal. THEY did nothing wrong. I'm not saying your hubby did either. I think your looking for an excuse to be done with them as a couple. You can't trust them because of WHAT? I think your just peeved your hubby saw his friends wife naked and you think your hubby may want to get with her. Get a grip. Is your hubby planning on not seeing them if you stop?

Okay, taking into consideration that this is just my judgement call, I would sever the relationship and I would not trust my husband if he didn't. Really. I mean it.

I would grow up and not let something so petty destroy a good friendship. So what he saw a little clip of her naked, its not like he was jerking off or anything.

trust is earn. did you broke the trust by playing with someone's person item. did you earn their trust in you.

It take time to earn trust. you don't wish to persuit this relationship because it is not worth your "time" then it is a personnal call.
