I design a new web site but when i search it's name in yahoo, google and... the result is nothing please help me this is my first time that I design a web site

It has to have complete and accurate meta tags, and preferably an well-constructed robots.txt. It also needs to be more relevant to the search than other sites that use the same keywords. If another site seems more relevant to the search, the engine will give it a higher ranking. Another thing that helps rankings is to have lots of sites link to your site.

The other thing of course is that these things take time!

by default search engine nearly takes 4-6 months to get listed in new pages.Otherwise u can find a high page rank site and try to place a link over there. your website and your webpage will be easily indexed in the next 15 days
