My wireless connection says it's connected but no internet pages will open!?

try connecting your computer directly to the router with an ethernet cable. if that doesn't work, go to command prompt and type ipconfig and see what kind of ip address you are getting. if it is 0 or 169, then type ipconfig/renew.
