Vortex

It would depend on his powers. If he has anything to do with whirlwinds, tornadoes, spirals, rotation, going in circles, Vortex is the way to go. But if he is primarily a strong, hard to hurt character (a 'brick', in Champions parlance) then Powerhouse is a fine name.

I would call him powerhouse unless he spins a lot then Vortex would be pretty awesome.

the latter. Powerhouse is a candy bar or a place where they produce crack, crystal meth, or bootleg red bull.
Vortex is cool but used a bit in the engine industry.

Depends on Power
When i think of Powerhouse i think of strong bulked up dude that has superstrength

As for Vortex It varries because his power could be like superspeed or a master of wind attacks... He could also be like Jean Gray with his pyshic powers.....

So it pretty much depends

depends on his powers
i guess powerhouse is a muscle man

depends on his abilities / personality.

in MY mind, i envision Powerhouse as a tall, hulking, broad-shouldered, tough-but-quiet type.

vortex makes me think wind, so that makes me think skinny, fast, sharp-witted with a sharper tongue, and some kind of powerful ability.
