purchased a used GMC sierra 1500. It has an on and off switch(PIAA) that was added on . Any ideas?

i own a repair shop,and it was probably an accessory for the trailer they pulled behind it, like auxiliary lights or something,id try it ad see if it does have power on it,its not going to hurt anything id you leave it there,who knows you might find a good use for it someday,when i bought my truck it had a harness for a winch in the back ,and i left it there,i may need it someday,good luck i hope this help,s.

Piaa is a brand of fog and driving lights that probably were removed and switch was left behind
