If you worked with the two most irritating obnoxious people on the face of the earth? And your two managers are friends with the people?

we don't have a HR department...so I really can't go to them...however, they are CONSTANTLY talking about me...in front of the public, which if anyone works with the public knows, is really taboo.

depends on how obnoxious and in what way. If it's affecting your performance at work (i.e., distracting you) then you can approach your supervisor, explain that you are aware of a friendship between them, and state the facts. Don't whine or complain. State the problem, state how it affects your performance and present a solution if you have one. If you don't have one, ask for their opinion.

If your boss is worth his salt, he'll address the issue, friends or not.
If they don't address it or shut you down in the conversation, then you have every right to approach HR.

sometimes you have to put up with it....you can go to your supervisors about it....i know you said they are friends...but their supervisory title should come first before friendship when at work....if the supervisor needs to say something to them he/she should....the other alternative is to just quit....with a notice and a reason(the obnoxious people), of course...
