If so, how serious is it? Could that be the cause of my drastic hair loss. It could't be my LCD screen right? I spend about an average of 10 hours per day on my computer. It's been three years now and my hair is thinning at an alarming rate.

Yes, the keyboard as any other device needs energy and is it there in the contacts all the time you use the computer, now the human body at the end of the fingertips have static current, so many times we close the circuit every time we type, the plastic sometimes is not enough to work as a isolation. And because we type so fast the current is flowing at all the time and that creates magnetic fields and some times yes, it can be dangerous.
About the LCD screen, well in the same way the speed of regeneration can cause problems as well like the cell phones.
I hope it helps...

Hi!

There is no such thing! The keyboard only has some fairly basic electronics and uses about 100 mW (mili watts) of energy. Let's presume that 1% radiates out, after being filtered by the keyboard case... that is harmless.

Cheers!
