Whoever made the decision to play the unbalanced schedule. I wanna play each team in the league atleast twice. Seeing the divisional teams six times a season was enough, eight is WAY too many. I don't know anyone who likes the new way the schedule is set up.

Also, whoever thought ending a game in a shootout is stupid. Sure its fun to watch but man its a team sport and shouldn't be decided by individuals, esp if only 3 shooters go. If you are gonna have it be a shootout make it a min of 5 shooters per team.

Bettman is an idiot, Wang is stupid for signing Ya$hin for 10 years and DePietro for 15 years. The man who decided to have Dean Lombardi be LA's GM is stupid. Anyone on the Competitive Committee. The Dallas GM for signing Big E.

Right now I would have to say that the most stupid person in the NHL right now is Charles Wang, owner of the New York Islanders. Way to handcuff yourself with a 10 year deal with Yashin and a 15 year deal with DiPietro. You have to wornder how someone with his business acumen ever acquired enough money to own an NHL team.

Once upon a time the ISlanders were one of the class organizations in the NHL. They challenged and won Stanley Cups until the 90's. Now they play for lottery picks every year. Even that tends to blow up in their faces since they don't seen to do a good job of drafting and developing. When they do scout and draft someone decent, Wang's stooge Mike Milbury trades them away for little or nothing.

Bad days on the Island.

Bettman! Hands down!

I'm going to defend Charles Wang for a moment, I don't think he is that stupid at all. I think he's just making a bet which is what acquiring players is all about. What if Detroit had signed Stevey Y to a 20 year deal in 83??????? Or Lemieux??? Would have looked stupid at first but not so in the end. Puck signed Gretzky to a 21 year deal. He went on to sell Wayne, But it's the "trade" that looks stupid now not the deal. I know these players are no Y Lemieux or Gretzky, I'm just saying that you never know and it's unfair to say at this stage that he is a stupid man.

Bobby Clarke. He tried to build a team in the same mold of the Flyer teams of the 1970's. He has not adjusted to the new NHL.

I don't think that anyone in the NHL is stupid. Because they get to do what they they wanted to do. Play hockey.

Easy question! Buttman.

My biggest pet peave of his many, many mistakes is him coming up with a stupid stinky scheduel last year, seems to model it after a 16 game NFL sched. Hello, it's a 80 game hockey sched, not footbal. THEN, comes out with the same sched this year.

Example: 32 teams - play some of them 8 times, and others not at all.

Charles Wang. First signed Yashin to a 10 year contract, then DiPietro to a 15 year contract!

i`d have to say ed snyder for sticking with bobby clarke this long, the leafs have been stupid since the days of harold ballard since they had sittler macdonald, palmaterr, salming and could`nt win a cup they self destructed and never reecovered yet, they came close with gilmour in 93 when they hired ex flame guru fletcher but went back to stupid with quinn dryden etc.
