i know other races do crime the jail is full of black men

Complacency in the black community is one of the main reasons. They do not strive to leave their neighborhood because of motivational factors. Blacks are trapped in a life a crime in many cases, in order to succeed and to feed their families. A lack of respectable jobs in the black community plays a part. Also racial profiling is a contributing factor, a lot of innocent black men are in jail because of this.

people who commit crimes are put in jail / prison.
do black males commit more crimes than anybody else? maybe.
is it just that black males get CONVICTED more often? maybe.
or is it that black males are, because of the fact that they are black males, born into situations where they must (or feel they must) commit crimes to survive? possibly.
could it be that society SAYS that black males commit more crimes than anybody, and so they do, because it's expected of them? could be.
everyone has their own answer. i personally feel that it is a combination of a couple factors. it's partially due to the media and society, presenting the thug-lifestyle as something to be revered and respected, when in fact it's petty, dangerous, and morally questionable. then it's partially due to the fact that there is high poverty among blacks. (african-americans, if you prefer. even though 99% of them have never even BEEN to africa, let alone born there.)
but anyway, when was the last time you were actually IN a jail / prison? the division might not be as severe are you think.

Its not just Black men.. its alot of races thats packed in the jails. You have an easier time asking why we breath,,,

Because of the inner city culture that promotes a Godless, thug-like, gangsta wanna be, we are oppressed so kill anybody you want, life. If you disagree just listen to the music they all rap to. Look at the styles the wear, just like the criminals and rap stars. The materialism in the hood is eating them up and they will do anything to obtain it and theres not respect of the rule of law. Any mom who allows her kid to grow up imitating that lifestyle needs to be slapped. Just a thought :)
