were they just white or did it have like a powdery deposit on them...This could be the sign of a problem...don't fret...I don't think a serious problem but maybe one to look into. Here is a link to champion spark plugs web sight...they have a section that covers most spark plug indications and such. Hope it helps.

I assume you are talking about the electrodes.
The color white means that water is getting into the combustion chamber. Or if it's a light white without a glaze, it's normal.
Black carboned tips - too much fuel.
Black oily tips- burned oil.
Cracked porcelain- Water

i own a repair shop, and there usually a light Grey color or sometimes near a white color, this means it is burning good and is not wasting any fuel on it,if its running that clean id leave it alone, because most of them want run that clean at all, this also indicates that your engine s in real good condition,in order for it run the plugs that clean it has to be,not using any oil,and that is real good, but that's a good sign if there that clean on it,good luck,i hope this help,s.

How old are they, if they are new then they should be white.

If they have at least 10,000 miles on them a light brown is normal, if theyre still bright white
then your gas mixture is too lean.

they should be close to the color of coffee with cream...white indicates a possible lean fuel mixture

black means mixture is too rich, white means mixture is too poor! The right colour is a light brown on a dry electrode.
