When I went to apply for a job as a Math teacher, the employer asked me to write a long essay on what I would do if a student was gettting low grades. I thought this was really stupid. I mean, there are so many different variables that can affect a child's grade, that it would have been impossible to give a good answer.

When I was a teen....an employer asked me (actually TOLD me) to lie to a customer about a product that would clearly harm their child. I tried to reason with him, but he couldn't see past the sale.
I walked away from my supervisor...walked to the customer and told them to go to the competitor and told them I was directed to lie to them so they didn't come back. Of course, I walked out and quit on the spot.
Cannot believe the depths of depravity some people will go for a dollar.

I find it really stupid and pointless when you are discussing something with your employer face to face and then they say "can you write that in an email to me?" I feel like saying "NO! I've just told you in person, why do you need it written down as if our conversation has no worth?!"

Oh where to start......
Go buy him ciggarettes
Go buy "the guys" beer and the boss scotch
Take his wife's car to get the oil changed
Take the Jr. Partner's car for an oil change
Take his car to get washed
Go buy him chew when he "quits" smoking
That would be the short list......

He told me to "f" off, which I did, because I had had enough of working for him.
I then got compensation for wrongful dismissal.
True!
