for me it seems that every once in a while the past catches up with me in the manner that I see people from the past, and things happen that remind me of the past

Through memories... steps we have taken that we feel were not right, and wish we had never taken those steps, that's when the past catches up with us and sometimes never fades away
Basically,if we see it in a positive way,we carry the past all the time that's how we learn..if you know what I'm saying. The past could be good or bad.
We are what we are today by what we did in the past and that's a proof cause what I'm typing now will be a past by the time you read it.Hope you got your answer mate!!!

If we fail to learn the lessons of the past then we will surely make those errors again. And if we fail to make amends for the wrongs of the past then surely there will be fallout from those errors that will find us.

Along with my belief of "what comes around, goes around" our past has made us who we are. So it will always be a part of us, whether it's good or bad. The best way to avoid being "caught up to" is to accept the past, deal with it as part of you, and never try to hide from it. :)

Definitely. We sometimes receive suspended sentence--that gives us time to repent. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction--in the natural and in the spiritual also.

Maybe if there was a time machine! You would have to travel back in time first to come forward ahead of the actual time.

I dream about things that happened the day before.........but a few seconds after waking I have forgotten the details.
Probably not the question you are asking!

You mean like when my mate's husband got caught for not paying tax and he got clobbered with an £85000 tax bill? She was not a happy bunny either because he kept it all secret. But she divorced him and got to keep her Beemer cause it was in her name :-)
