I think the premiere had too many stories trying to go at once, but I love that show so I'm still hopeful for it. I still set aside one hour a week just for the purpose of watching Grey's.

I think that, as with most good new shows, there is a great punch with the first season and there is obviously no pressure to live up to anything. I think the second season has promise because there is will be a lot with the developing of the characters and really learning about the separate backgrounds and their stories. I think it will be very entertaining, just not as wonderful as last year.

The premier wasn't "staggering" in any sense, but I think they were trying to lay a foundation for the rest of the season. So give it time, I think it will get even better.

It's because of the writers' strike, there was a delay in producing new episodes. The next episode will air on April 24 and there will be four more after that. The next season is currently slated to begin in 2009.

I was disappointed in the premier as well. But I thought last week's episode where Meredith was high on painkillers was HILARIOUS!

I do think we are looking at an entire season of "I dumped the vet for you, McDreamy. Why won't you be with me?" But I like the characters, so I can live with it.

And I'm really intrigued by Izzie's story. What is she going to do with all of that money?!?

I think it could be a good season, but not if all you want out of it is for Meredith and Derek to date -- 'cause I don't think that is going to happen.

This is the most overrated show in the history of television. It serves more as a vehicle for alternative bands to get their avant garde music out to the masses (since MTV quit doing that some time ago). Beyond that, it's merely a bunch of photogenic doctors getting it on, LAME. And no matter what anyone says, Dr. McDreamy will always be the greasy lawn-mowing geek from Can't Buy Me Love.

I agree. I am hopeful, but there are some signs of decay. Izzie has become an irredeemable head case, Dr. Bailey has softened up, I'm already tired of McSteamy. At least George seems to have broken up with Callie. She was a pain in the ---.

Yes, I watch. I agree that the first show wasn't great, but it has potential. Hope it's not ALL about Meredith. Like to see more about George and Callie.

I can't believe Meridith chose Mc Dreamy last week. I knew she would , but not after he told her to choose Fin. And what about Mc Steamy? Oh my goodness, he is hot! I just love this show.

I agree. I don't like the direction it's going in.
