The stone is a unit of weight and mass. It is part of the Imperial system of weights and measures used in the United Kingdom, and formerly used in Ireland and most Commonwealth countries. It is equal to 14 pounds avoirdupois, or 6.35029318 kilograms. Eight stone make a hundredweight in the Imperial system. The plural form of stone is usually also stone, though stones is sometimes used. The abbreviation is st.
Though no longer an official unit of measure—kilograms are used in medical and other technical contexts—the stone remains almost universal as a means of expressing human body weight in the UK and Ireland. People in these countries normally describe themselves as weighing, for example, "11 stone 4" (11 stone and 4 pounds), rather than "158 pounds" (the conventional way of expressing the same weight in the United States and Canada). Stones may also be used to express body weight in casual contexts in other Commonwealth countries.
The stone was also frequently used in the past for weighing agricultural commodities. Potatoes, for example, were traditionally sold in stones and half-stones (14-pound and 7-pound quantities).

The following are the Imperial Measures of weights:
16 dram = 1 oz (oz - ounce)
16 oz = 1 lb (lb - pound)
14 lb = 1 st (st - stone)
2 st = 1 qtr (qtr - quarter)
4 qtr = 1 cwt (cwt - hundredweight)
20 cwt = 1 ton
"Americans measure their own weight in pounds rather than stone. So here is a conversion table."
1 st = 14 lb
2 st = 28 lb
3 st = 42 lb
4 st = 56 lb
5 st = 70 lb
6 st = 84 lb
7 st = 98 lb
8 st = 112 lb
9 st = 126 lb
10 st = 140 lb
11 st = 154 lb
12 st = 168 lb
13 st = 182 lb
14 st = 196 lb
15 st = 210 lb
16 st = 224 lb
17 st = 238 lb
18 st = 252 lb
19 st = 266 lb
20 st = 280 lb

I loved to play ball, and for the first time in my life, I'm actually useful, at a ballgame, instead of just a big stationary person, that maybe if the ball comes within this range, I might get it. I was wearing-I'd always wore XX kind of jersey. And then I went down to medium. And then the medium was too big, that it's coming down here.
So I'm wearing a rockin' outfit, and I'm making a play, and the guy stops, beans it in the face 'cause he says, "Look at your body. You're rockin' hard." And that was the first time I had ever gotten a compliment like that in my whole life.

The 'answerers' who have told you that 4 stone
= 56lbs are correct (since 1 stone = 14lbs) . However, we've been in the EU for a long time now and we actually use kilograms! So the answer is actually 25.4545 kg. We use litres too, and not pints, etc..
