What is this continued fascination with Beckham? No way should he be bought back and there is no way he will be.He is well and truly finished at international level and had been for some time. The England team lacks pace as it is without bringing back a tortoise. He cannot be certain of his place in the Real Madrid team and this would not help his cause. In fact I think he should retire from football completely.

OFcourse England is nothing without Beckham..Lampard and Gerrard can take Beckham's place but since they are playing vey badly in England..There is no one to take Bekcham's place so England is deteriorating day after day...If Beckham comes back England will BOUNce Back..So yes England should bring Beckham Back

I thought Beckham had started losing his ability in the World Cup. But I think we are worse off for not having him at all. Yes bring him back.

Yes I think that David Beckham should retrun and play for England, perhaps as a subsitute in the last 20 - 25 minutes.

To do what? He's not played well for a long time and has not given any service to the forwards for years. We lose 2 games and that's it? How many did we lose when Beckham was playing?
Give the new team a chance and try supporting England rather than criticising them.

At this year's World Cup, Beckham just wasn't showing the same hunger & determination as he had in the past. He'd lost something. A bit out time-out will have done him no harm - perhaps a return to the England A-Team might re-ignite something.

no hes had his time like most of the team if you look back were still fielding the same team as we did in the world cup and half the problem is a lack-luster midfield Hargreaves has been on form but unluckily broke his leg and England will never get the best out of Gerrard while he always has to carry Lampard. So drop lamps play Rooney in the position Paul scholes played in he will score more goals put Wright-Philips on the right and Gerrard in the middle oh and play Crouch & Defoe up front

no, if we bring him back it will be like we are taking a step backwards and we don't need to do that, beckham is a good footballer but nothing has changed from when mcclaren dropped him for him to justify a return to the England set-up

Definitely...and it is not even like they have anything to loose by letting him back. It is evident that the team is lacking and if it is not Beckham I am sure that he can help them pull things together again...

No, i dont think he is good enough..Apart from occasionally scoring from a free kick (like Roberto Carlos), he is too old, can't use his left leg, can't beat an opponent, can't head the ball, has no pace whatoever..is there anything else I have left out. I think if Erickkson had the guts to leave him out of the squad, as well as some others (Owen comes to mind) England would have probably done better.
